Lake Oconee Backstop and Two-Story Concession Stand
Schools across the country face numerous challenges when implementing facility upgrades or changes. Many schools, like the Lake Oconee Academy (LOA), a charter school located in Greensboro, Georgia, are optimizing their budgets by installing multi-purpose modular structures.
For this project, Delta Precast was contracted by Smith-Columbia Corporation to provide structural design services, shop drawings and a PE stamp for a two-story Easi-Set combination modular building to be located behind their ball field backstop.
The lower level of the building contains a 12’ x 20’ x 8’ concession stand with two bathrooms, (one standard, the other is ADA compliant) separated by an internal wall partition. The concession stand was outfitted with a roll up door and utility sink. The second story is the 12’x10’x8’ press box with a sliding double window and rooftop mezzanine.
The exterior features a split block pattern as well as a painted finish. The building was delivered with all electrical wiring and plumbing fixtures installed, enabling full functionality upon connection.
