Sanford Avenue Bridge over Cattaraugus Creek Stone Strong Pedestrian Bridge Ramp

This project involved the design, layout and detailing for a pedestrian bridge access ramp located in Wyoming County, New York using strong proprietary block retaining walls. The ramp structure is comprised of approximately 190 feet of standard stone strong blocks, corner blocks and mass extender blocks backfilled with select structural fill, sub-base course and asphalt wearing surface.

The structural design of the walls utilized Stone Strong’s design program. Drawings included detailed layout of the ramp showing control points and base piece location, wall elevations, sections and special details.
