Hoboken NW Resiliency Park Precast Climbing Wall

Delta was contracted by LHV Precast, Inc. to provide the design calculations and detailed shop drawings to convert this cast-in-place precast system to a climbing wall. This climbing wall will be a part of a new, five-acre public park that will become the country’s largest known resiliency park with an above ground green space, athletic fields, and ice rink. Delta provided the design calculations and detailed shop drawings to convert the cast-in-place precast system to a climbing wall. Wall panels will be anchored to the cast-in-place footings per plan. Threaded inserts to bolt on climbing hand holds will be field installed and allow the climbing routes to be changed for variety. Delta provided measured drawings for each panel of form liner for the triangular wall sections. 3D drawings were prepared to model the different panels that were both vertically and horizontally pitched.
