This project consisted of construction of a new 30’ x 8’ three-sided culvert for the replacement of Long Creek Road over Long Creek (BIN 2218750). Long Creek Road has experienced major flooding, affecting the surrounding homes and replacing the undersized culvert was crucial to help with water flow and to mitigate flood events. The scope of work included cast in place concrete footings, wingwalls, headwalls, associated earthwork, road construction, and guide rails. Removal of an existing temporary bridge was also part of the project tasks.
